BY-LAWS

• a. The board is governed by the Governing Board (Board). The Board shall consist of 7 members.
• b. The president of the TAMASUS is recommended and appointed by the board members.
• c. President should appoint a treasurer to assist the president
• d. Secretary’s responsibility is to assist president on TAMASUS activities.
• e. Treasurer’s responsibility is to manage document and tract account in order.

2. Terms

• a. The president, vice president, secretary and treasurer is one year tern. The president can voluntarily serve an optional additional one year term with board's approval.
• b. The president shall take office in February during the quarterly meeting.
• c. The former president will be severing the board after stepping down the presidency.

3. Member qualification

• a. Members must be born in Taiwan or either parent is from Taiwan
• b. Member must recognize and support ROC on Taiwan
• c. Member must have MD or DO degree from United States or other countries living in the states of GA, NC, AL, SC, TN, KY, FL or MS.
• d. Member does not need to have active medical licensure in United States.
• e. Medical doctor who does not meet qualification requirement in section (a) can join as an associate member with two active members' recommendation and board's approval.

4. Membership fee

• a. Membership fee is $100 per person and $200 per couple
• b. Membership fee is due in Feb.meeting.
• c. Physican guest (must be older than 18 years old) is $50 per person.

5. TAMASUS Activity/President job description

• a. Promote medical information exchange between Taiwan-US
• b. Conduct 4 CME or non-CME activities, preferably once every quarter of a year.
• c. Collaborate with other medical associations in Southeastern United States.
• d. Provide medical seminars or health fair to the local community
• e. President and treasurer shall report the detailed accounting report in November.
• f. President and secretary shall update and maintain the website (www.tamasus.com).
